Chapter 311 Hosts Traveling Wall

Chapter 311 is a sponsor of The Wall That Heals that will be touring Des Plaines, IL in late September. 

The chapter is working with local chapters of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion to bring the traveling Wall to their community.

It will be displayed at the Lake Park Pavilion and will feature opening and closing ceremonies. A candlelight vigil with an airplane flyover will also take place.

The replica lists the names of 58,479 U.S. military personnel who died in combat during the Vietnam War.
