Chapter 862 Holds Christmas Vigil

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 862 conducted a 24-hour vigil honoring veterans killed in the Vietnam War starting at 1 p.m. Christmas Eve at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Beaver, Pa.

Aluminum mementos commissioned from the Wendell August Forge were hung on a 9-ft. fir tree to commemorate the 73 Beaver County veterans killed during the Vietnam War. Four bronze ornaments honored the four Vietnam veterans from the county listed as missing in action.
