Chapter 678 Raises Memorial Banners in Stroudsburg

Vietnam Veterans of America Pocono Chapter 678 installed pictorial banners honoring area veterans in downtown Stroudsburg, Pa. More than 90 banners are avialable in Courthouse Square for sponsorship, with the chapter picking up the tab for 10 area residents who lost their lives in Vietnam.

“There are 10 men from this county who did not return home; they were killed in Vietnam,” Trustee John DeFazio told BRC-13 News. “The banners that you see are an attempt to remember these men who have fallen. That kind of sacrifice can’t be forgotten.”
