The West Virginia State Council recently hosted a Patriot Ride and the Vietnam Veterans Mobile Wall in Lewis County, WV.
The Mobile Wall contains the names of 736 KIA, POW, and MIA West Virginians.
Upon approaching the county line, a truck carrying the Mobile Wall was greeted and escorted by a ladder truck from the Weston Fire Department.
The Patriot Ride was a fundraiser for the Mountaineer Military Museum in which 50 participants riding on 37 motorcycles raised $2,700. The Ride also served to honor veterans, and to remember the victims of the September 11th attacks.
The West Virginia Vietnam Veterans Mobile Wall travels to the 81st Mountain State Forest Festival in Elkins, WV in October.
