Chapter 388 Receives Donation From Local Realty Firm

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 388 recently received a donation of more than $1,500 from Coldwell Banker Select in Carson City, which continued its annual tradition of donating tips collected from Nevada Day and other events throughout the year.

Chapter President Tom Spencer told the Nevada Appeal that the chapter would dedicate the money to its Adopt a Vet dental program, the local Veterans Resource Center, veteran education costs at Western Nevada College, housing for homeless veterans, and other programs.

“We love the community we live in and are so happy and proud to be able to give back to so many wonderful charitable groups and causes,” Coldwell Banker managing broker Victoria Williams said.
