VVA Achievement Metal Awarded to Pete Wagner

During The Villages (FL) Chapter 1036 ‘s November General Membership Meeting, Region 4 Director Craig Tonjes presented Chapter President Pete Wagner with the VVA National Achievement Medal.

The award is in recognition of Wagner’s commitment, motivation, dedication and leadership in supporting the mission of the VVA, the VVA Florida State Council, Chapter 1036 and its’ officers and members.

Some of Wagner’s notable contributions include improvements to the chapter’s website including leadership, minutes, and newsletter pages.

Chapter 1036 is the largest Florida VVA Chapter with 500 members, and the ninth largest in the Nation. The chapter is noted for its charitable work supporting local schools, veterans’ needs and family food banks.
