Gold Star Families and Chapter 731 Remembers the Lost

Chapter 731 and Gold Star Mothers and Families of Manitowoc County, WI recently gathered for a special event to remember their loved ones.

There was a ceremonial reading of the names of all the sons and daughters of Manitowoc who died serving their country. The event has been sponsored and supported by organizations such as AMVETS, Disabled Veterans of America, and others.

Chapter 731 was integral to starting the Manitowoc County Gold Star Mothers and Families chapter 21 years ago.

Since the Vietnam War, 51 citizens from Manitowoc have died in combat.
