Chapter 154 Aids in Stamping Out Macomb Hunger

Letter carriers in Macomb, MI  will be collecting food to benefit veterans and service members and their families. The Letter Carriers Food Drive for the Macomb Community Action food program will support Mt. Clemens Chapter 154’s Veterans Support Center, which includes a veterans’ pantry.

Last year, hundreds of veterans sought assistance resulting in the feeding of well over 2, 000 people.

Veteran recipients must show a DD-214 and valid picture ID, and may access the food pantry a total of eight times.

Stamp Out Hunger is food drive that takes place in over 10, 000 communities throughout the country. Common donations include canned goods, cereals, pastas, etc.
