Chapter 1105 Observes Vietnam Veterans Day
Vietnam Veterans of America Sussex County Chapter 1105 held a National Vietnam Veterans Day an event in Georgetown, Del., March 29 to honor the 124 state residents who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in Vietnam. The City of Georgetown and the Sussex Central High School Junior ROTC cosponsored the annual event.
Chapter 1105 President Joe A. Moore emceed the observance, and Sussex Central High School Junior Army ROTC Cadets presented the colors and honor each of the 26 Sussex County heroes. Former state Sen. George H. Bunting offered a keynote address, and Vietnam veteran Bruce Graber spoke.
