VVA Chapter 203 of Chattanooga, Tennessee has designed and is distributing a special lapel pin for the spouses of deceased Vietnam veterans.
Bill Norton, president of Chapter 203, and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution created a Deceased Vietnam Veteran’s Surviving Spouse certificate and lapel pin to acknowledge the love and support of a Vietnam veteran.
The certificate and pin go to the surviving spouse of the Vietnam veteran, and if the spouse is also deceased, the children of the veteran receive the certificate and pin.
The lapel pin is engraved ‘Service, Family and Sacrifice’ and can be worn at any time of the bearer’s choosing.
The pin is available during all Chapter 203 meetings, as well as during the Tennessee Vietnam Wall display.
