Chapter 431 Holds Food Drive

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 431 in El Paso, Texas, recently held a food drive for other veterans and members of the community outside an area Walmart. Customers donated food and money, and the veterans told Good Morning El Paso that after donating their service to our country, they wanted to give what they could to the less fortunate.

“These people really appreciate having us out,” member Lawrence Orvis said. “The customers who come in and out, when they hear that we’re here to help the community in the way of food and donations, they’ve seen us time after time, and they really appreciate having us here.”

Chapter 431 is planning another food drive in East Las Cruces in April.
