Utah State Council Held Bob Hope-Style Fundraiser

The Utah State Council held a unique fundraiser June 10 to raise funds to build a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Commons Park in Layton, Utah. 

The Tribute to the Bob Hope Shows of the Vietnam Era included Bob Hope himself (in the person of tribute artist Bill Johnson), Phyllis Diller (Hollie Flair), Kim Walters, and Michelle DellaFave, who toured with Hope in Vietnam.

The event, the brainchild of State Council President Dennis Howland, was held at the Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater in Layton. Several thousand dollars were raised.
