Chapter 1078 Holds Agent Orange Town Hall
Knoxville, Tennessee, Chapter 1078 sponsored an Agent Orange town hall meeting on May 9 at the Washington Pike United Methodist Church in Knoxville. About a hundred Vietnam veterans and family members attended. “There are just a lot of veterans, and not just them, but equally if not more importantly, the spouses of the veterans who don’t know what benefits they’re eligible for, ” said Chapter President Don Smith, who spoke to the gathering on “History, Diseases, and Available VA Benefits.” A local veterans service officer led a discussion on the Gulf War and other issues.
