Chapter 1120 Runs Benefits Classes

Since 2012, when it began, some 140 veterans have graduated from a program that teaches veterans how to file compensation and pension claims run by Unified Incarcerated Veterans Organization Chapter 1120 at Deerfield Correctional Center in Capron, VA

“The classes revolve around the fundamentals and intricacies of developing verified claims for a number of ailments and injuries,” said AVVA member Malik Muhammad.

The chapter also collects aluminum can soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, which provides free lodging near hospitals for families of children undergoing surgery.
