Chapter 377 Lights Watch Fire for POW/MIAs

Chapter 377 held a recent watch fire at a lake in Myers Park of Lansing, NY for the service men and women who are missing in action or prisoners of war. 

The audience of over 200 included members of Cornell University’s ROTC Navy, Marine Corps, Army and Air Force units, and members of the community from all walks of life.

The 10 foot bonfire was constructed from materials donated from the community and local businesses. The occasion also allowed for the proper disposal of American flags, brought by attendees.

This was Chapter 377’s 27th year for observing the Annual National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Recognition Day.
