Chapter 607 is sponsoring their 5th Vietnam Memorial, this time at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL.
The memorial will remember the veterans who fought in Vietnam and against segregation in the American South.
The 3 feet tall memorial will cost about $30,000, which will be funded by donations.
The memorial will include the names of those killed in action from Dallas County, Morengo County and Perry County. The other memorials are in Tuskegee, Wetumpka, and at the Central Alabama Veteran Health Care all resembling the wall in Washington, DC.
