Trailer Stolen From Chapter 1053

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1053 had a trailer containing thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment stolen from a lot in New Johnsonville, Tenn., before dawn on Wednesday, Jan. 16. According to video surveillance, the trailer was towed away by a large pickup truck overnight; New Johnsonville Police are investigating.

“Our trailer was sitting right by City Hall on the lot,” Wayne Woods, chapter president, told WKRN.com. It contained all of the “stuff that we use for our fundraisers—anything from hats, to tables, to chairs, to all our flags. We’ve probably got $1,500 worth of flags in there for each branch of service. So we’ve probably got $6,000-$8,000 in the trailer that was stolen.”
