Chapter 669 Benefits From Chili Cookoff

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 669 benefited from a chili cookoff held at Christopher D’s bar in Moline, Ill., Jan. 19. Thirteen cooks competed in the third annual event, and guests were asked to provide a small donation that went to the chapter.

“All of the money goes to them,” bar employee Brandon Zeglin told KWQC-TV. “They use the money for gas money to go bury people at the arsenal; they also do parades. We like to help them out — they’re good guys, and they cook good chili.”
