Chapter 203 Honors Woodruff, Holds Chair Ceremony

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 203 honored its chaplain, George Woodruff, on Aug. 19. Air Force Airman First Class Woodruff served in Vietnam during 1970-1971, and was presented with an Achievement Medal.

The chapter also performed an empty chair ceremony to remember POW/MIAs still unaccounted for. Some 1,618 service members remain unaccounted for from Vietnam. The chapter is making plans for National POW/MIA recognition day on Sept. 20.
