VVA Members in Dayton to Welcome Home Honor Flight

Honor Flight of Dayton, OH will sponsor a free trip to Washington, DC for veterans to visit the memorials during Veterans Day weekend.

The 92 World War II, Korean and Vietnam veterans will tour the World WAR II Memorial, Korean Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, USMC War Memorial, USAF Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and observe the Changing of the Guard at the Tombs of the Unknown Soldiers.

Upon arrival from the same day tour, the veterans will be welcomed home with fanfare from the community. When the veterans land, there will be an Honor March to the Honor Corridor. Marines will join VVA members and other military groups along with the Boy Scouts of America, Patriot Pin-Up Girls, Knights of Columbus, and individuals from the police and fire departments.
