Members in Kentucky Support Police Dog
VVA members in Madison County, KY raised money along with other veterans groups in the community for a bullet-proof vest for the Sheriff’s Office’s canine.
A four-year-old Belgian Malinois who has been serving the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for two years will receive the new $800 bullet- and stab-proof protective vest.
The dog’s duties include tracking suspects and missing persons, as well as sniffing out drugs.
