Chapter 949 Holds Annual Picnic
Tri-State Chapter 949 recently held their sixth annual Military and Veterans Appreciation Picnic at Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington, WV.
Over 750 veterans and members of the public enjoyed the annual cookout with door prizes, music from the Blue Country Band, and military displays and re-enactments.
Other sponsors for the event directed at appreciating veterans and service men and women included the West Virginia Marine Corps Coordinating Council, the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 317.
