Chapter 120 Member Receives First Service Officer Award

John Cutler, a member of VVA Greater Hartford, Connecticut, Chapter 120, is the first recipient of the Addlestone Service Officer of the Year Award. 

The award was given to Connecticut State Council President Pattie Dumin at the National Convention in New Orleans in August. Dumin presented it to Cutler at the September Connecticut State Council meeting.

David Addlestone, a VVA attorney, in 1980 helped found the National Veterans Legal Services Program, a nonprofit organization that works to help American veterans and active-duty personnel receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
