Veterans’ Multimedia Art Exhibit Opening in Chicago

“Conflict Zones: Three Generations” is the name of a multimedia art exhibit that opens today at the Ukrainian National Museum in Chicago. The exhibit, which runs through August 25, is made up of photographs and paintings by veterans of the wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, as well a digital presentation about Ukrainian-American veterans created by John Steciw.

Artwork displayed in the exhibit includes photographs by Andrea Bruce, Joel Chaverri, Jason P. Howe, Holly Pickett, Jeff Newton, Joao Silva, Jackie Spinner and paintings by Joe Fornelli, Kristy L. Herman, Steve Johnson, Robert LeLand, Ron Mann, Laura Sallenger and former Vietnam War nurse Helen White .
