Author Query: Vietnam Veterans’ Wisdom

Pamela Woll is working on a book about Vietnam War veterans and would like to interview men and women who served in the war. “Though anything they want to say will be welcome, the book won’t be about the details of their Vietnam experience so much as about the wisdom and strength they’ve gained from that experience, and from all aspects of their lives since then, ” Woll told us.

The goal for the book, Woll says, is “to help explode the mythology that seems to define Vietnam veterans as limited by the bad stuff they went through in Vietnam and the collection of pathologies that followed many of them home.”
