Author Query: The Human Face of the Vietnam War

James Wright, the President Emeritus of Dartmouth College, is working on a book on the human face of the Vietnam War. He is focusing on the period of late May and early June 1969 and the servicemen and women killed during that time.

He is interested in hearing from anyone who served in Vietnam at that time, particularly those who were in the units that suffered casualties, as well as from family and friends who knew the deceased.

Wright, a former Marine and a historian, wrote the acclaimed book Those Who Have Borne the Battle: A History of America’s Wars and Those Who Fought Them.
