Incident verification: In late February or
early March 1966, I was on TDY installing communications
equipment outside of Saigon in a tent city. Our camp was
attacked in the early evening by Viet Cong. A helicopter
dropped off beer in the late afternoon, and when it got dark,
we had an old piece of plywood that was painted white. We
were watching a movie on the plywood screen when we were
attacked. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Contact: Don
